In this episode:

There’s good progress happening at the West Roxbury Victorian. Outside, electrician Leandro Amancio is working on installing lighting on the front porch—a first for the house. Inside, another first for the house is a primary suite and in-floor heating. Tile installer Gabriel Oliveira has installed a coupling membrane to receive the cable for in-floor heat in the primary bathroom–a smart electric system controlled by a programmable thermostat. In the other upstairs bathroom, Richard Trethewey assists plumber Fabio Kirch with installing a bathtub made of natural materials but maintains the necessary strength. With so much progress happening, it’s time to start thinking about lighting. Kevin O’Connor meets homeowners Robyn and Derek at a local lighting showroom where manager Kimberly Mackey provides tips on where to begin when choosing lighting for a whole house and how to size a light fixture for the dining room properly. At the house, Derek and son Zach plan to turn the shingled third-floor attic space into a man cave. To save time and cost of waste, Tom Silva instructs the two on how to install drywall over the existing shingles without removing them. Original Air Date: Mar 24, 2022, Season 43; Ep. 22 23:42
